I-Joists
We engineer all of our floor systems using Louisiana Pacific
(LP) or Georgia Pacific (GP) I-Joists depending on your location.
LP describes I-Joists as:
"stronger pound for pound, straighter
and more reliable than traditional lumber, with reduced moisture
content for floors with fewer pops and squeaks. And, because
pound for pound they have a greater load-bearing capacity
than sawn lumber, you can engineer the structural components
of floors and cathedral ceilings with fewer pieces, saving
installation and materials costs."

Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL)
LVL's consistent dimensions and density make it ideal for
beams, headers, and other primary load carrying members.

Rimboard
Solid Start™ or Fiberstrong™ is used on the perimeter
of a floor system. At 1-1/8" thick, it is designed with
higher structural capacity than typical plywood and is precision
cut to match the depths of the engineered I-Joists.
Hangers
Our floor system packages include all hangers required for
the I-Joists and LVL installation.
